About Countywide News & Sun

The Countywide & Sun is a combination of the 75-plus year tradition of Tecumseh's Countywide weekly and Shawnee Sun's hallmark government and political reporting. We are the only locally owned paper located in Pottawatomie County. We currently employ three Oklahoma Press Association Hall of Fame journalists, as well as award-winning columnists and the most-awarded editorial writer in Oklahoma.
