Sage Fruit Company is a sales and marketing firm of northwest tree fruits, located in Yakima, Washington. We are owned by four growers/packers/shippers who joined for the purpose of delivering high-quality products to consumers. We seek to supply fruit worldwide, year-round.
Sage Fruit is a growing business. Since 2000, we have grown at twice the annual rate as the industry as a whole. Each of our vertically integrated warehouses is continuously adding acreage to their well-established farms. In addition, they are also replanting current acreage with higher-density trees. It is important to us to remain above the curve when it comes to discovering new apple varieties. But, we also work hard to determine the most desired current varieties and are planting accordingly.
Our team consists of numerous horticultural specialists who work with growers in the field. They ensure our fruit is grown to the highest standards and harvested at the peak of freshness. Once at the warehouse, a team of quality control personnel inspects the fruit prior to packing, during packing, and before shipping. Their job is to make certain only the very best make it to the fresh market.
