Douglas Ridge Rifle Club introduces the exciting .22 Rimfire Challenge, offering a thrilling introduction to competitive shooting for speed enthusiasts. Open to anything chambered in .22LR, be it pistol or rifle, this challenge pits shooters against 5-7 static steel targets, testing their speed and accuracy. With 5 chances to shoot each stage, the worst time is discarded, and the rest are tallied for the final score. This family-friendly event features courses of fire for both pistol and rifle, promising a day of fast-paced, fun-filled shooting. Quarterly matches are held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with fees at $5.00 per gun for DRRC members and $7.50 per gun for non-members, including lunch.
