Sporting Clays
Douglas Ridge Rifle Club offers Sporting Clays, the shotgun sport closest to actual field shooting. With a variety of clay target sizes, velocities, and flight patterns, Sporting Clays provides a fun and challenging experience for shooters of all levels. No special shotgun is required, making it accessible to all. Matches are open to the public and can be as competitive as participants desire. Designed to simulate bird hunting scenarios, each shooting station presents a unique pattern of targets. Three times a year, the club hosts a National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Registered Shoot, attracting top shooters from Oregon and Washington.
