The Willamette Valley Cancer Institute features a federally approved in-house laboratory that delivers timely and accurate test results, enhancing the quality of care provided to patients. Under the leadership of Dr. Christopher Yasenchak, the laboratory employs certified medical technologists and lab assistants with extensive expertise in clinical laboratory medicine. The laboratory is divided into two main departments: chemistry and hematology, which are integral in diagnosing and monitoring various physiological conditions and blood-related disorders. Adhering to the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act standards, the laboratory ensures high-quality testing and is subject to biennial inspections to maintain its compliance and performance.
