Welcome to CECLC's Toddler Program! Our Toddler 1 classroom caters to children aged 18 months to 2 years, focusing on introducing structured activities like circle time where we explore colors, shapes, and numbers. We balance structured and unstructured play, utilizing our playground and 'BigRoom' for physical activities and sensory play. Music and instrument use are integral, enhancing auditory skills. Mealtime practices include transitioning to chairs without buckles and using utensils suited for developing independence. The Toddler 2 classroom, for ages 2 to 3, advances these concepts by integrating more complex interactions with letters and numbers during circle time, continuing to emphasize gross motor skills and social behaviors such as sharing and setting boundaries. Essential items for participation include diapers, a water bottle or sippy cup, extra clothes, sneakers, a nap mat or blanket, and an optional stuffed animal for nap time.
