This being Shockley's personal copy of the Polish translation of his seminal work, his name is inscribed on the front free endpaper.

Interior is otherwise clean and unmarked, although the pages are age toned.

Binding is firm.

Errata slip tipped in between the final page and the rear free endpaper.

An exceptionally scarce Polish version owned by Nobel laureate himself.
