Cedar City Neighborhood Slow Rolls

The Cedar City Slow Roll committee is in its second year organizing Neighborhood Slow Rolls and it is a public/private partnership consisting of 14 members from our local business, non-profit, and government sectors. In 2021, the Slow Roll Committee put on five monthly free events where 1600 attendees got outside to experience all the amazing parks, paved biking trails, cycling infrastructure, and hiking trails in and around Cedar City. Their goal is to help improve the health and connectedness of all families in our community by organizing safe family-friendly recreational events where they live. This is not just a bicycling event. All forms of non-motorized ways of getting around (e.g. bikes, scooters, strollers, skates, boards, feet, or wheelchairs) are encouraged to attend. In 2022, they plan to put on six Neighborhood Slow Rolls located in downtown Cedar City (Spring Fiesta), Three Peaks recreational area, Enoch Elementary, Canyon View High school, and two city parks.

Check out the Cedar City Neighborhood Slow Roll website for their current Slow Roll schedule, dates and locations. As well, make sure to follow them on Facebook.
