Tree Trimming
NV Energy's tree trimming program is intended to help protect you and your property while maintaining electric reliability. There are also laws in place to ensure safety by requiring a minimum clearance space between trees and power lines. Trees can cause power outages when branches rub against power lines, when branches break and fall on lines, or when trees are blown over onto power lines during storms. Do not attempt to prune the trees yourself.
