Skeet is a great sport for mixing and mingling, while shooters attempt to break clay targets flung into the air at high speed. The course has seven positions in a semicircle and an eighth position halfway between stations 1 and 7. While the target path remains the same, the shooting angle varies from station to station. The skeet houses, where the targets are launched, are located at station 1 (high house) and station 7 (low house). Unlike traps where all the targets are going up and away from the shooter, skeet provides challenging crossers plus incoming and outgoing target flight paths, much like live bird wing shooting.
