Snow Removal & Policies

Snowplowing

The snowplowing service operates as follows:

  • Main streets are cleared first, secondary (residential) streets are second, and cul-de-sacs are cleared last.
  • Intersections are salted after snowplowing. In cases of severe icing, intersections and straight sections of the road are salted immediately.
  • Snowplow drivers are instructed to avoid stopping and talking to residents.
