Bridges Things happen in life, and sometimes we find ourselves missing a tooth or even multiple teeth. This can be humiliating, not to mention it can make it difficult to chew your food. You don't have to suffer the embarrassment and discomfort anymore. Our staff has the tools to help you overcome this all-too-common issue, and dental bridges could be a solution that will adequately meet your needs.
A Realistic Option
Our staff wants to ensure we are best able to restore your smile in the most realistic way possible. Our bridges are fixed appliances that are cemented in place to ensure just the type of long-term solution you've been looking for. They are specially designed to fit in with your natural teeth as casually as possible. Among the various materials used in the creation of bridges include:
- Metal alloys
- Porcelain
- Ceramic
- Gold
- Combination of the above
Typical Three Visit Procedure
Bridgework typically takes place throughout three visits. Each case is unique, but you can typically expect: Visit One: X-rays are taken to examine overall tooth health, and our staff will consult with you to determine the best overall treatment. Visit Two: Teeth are shaved and re-contoured, and we make an impression of your teeth to send to the lab to custom-create your bridges. Before you leave, we will cement a temporary bridge. Visit Three: the Temporary bridge is removed, and we cement the permanent bridge in place. This visit typically takes place two weeks after visit two.
