Exciting news here at Agency Creek Farm we will be doing a CSA for the first time ever. What is a CSA well it's Community Sustainable Agriculture? A person signs up and pays to be a member before the growing season starts and receives a weekly portion of the produce from the farm. It's a partnership between them and the farm by signing up they provide the working capital to the farmer to order seeds, supplies, and materials to do the things needed to grow the produce that is then supplied to the member. It's a relationship between the farm and the members they are a part of the community of the farm and are supporting locally grown produce. They understand that there are ebbs and flows to the farm and that things can happen ie., weather, pest, and so on but go through these with the farmer. I'm excited to have people join us on this journey and to provide more products and products to those in our community.
