Our Instructor program provides the education and technical skills you need to not only help students shape their own success, but more importantly, prepare you for a long-term career in the industry. This curriculum focuses on developing lesson plans, preparing exams, facilitating classroom interaction, hands-on skills training, developing course outlines, and preparing students for State Boards. Additionally, students will receive business and marketing skills training to round out this full spectrum of education. We currently offer two instructor programs, Instructor at 1000 hours and Cosmetology Instructor at 500 hours, depending on your qualifications. The state of Idaho requires cosmetologists with less than three years of industry experience to complete 1000 hours program, while cosmetologists with over three years of experience can complete the program in 500 hours.
