Over the years I have observed many leaders. I have been intentional about learning and growing as a leader myself. What I have realized is that it takes a good leader to build and create strong teams. One thing that has stuck out to me is that good leaders celebrate when things go well, while great leaders give away credit when things go well. If you want to be a great leader, learn to take the heat as a leader when things go wrong and give away the credit when things go right. Your team needs to know they have your unyielding support. Once they know you will always have their back, they will do everything to support the success of the team. Do the right thing and people will always want to see you succeed!
