Children / Advocacy Services

Infant Monitoring Program
The Infant Monitoring Program is a free program offered to all children in LaGrange County from birth to 3 years of age. This program is a self-assessed questionnaire that is mailed out to your home every 4 months for two years, then every 6 months the last year to assist you in following your child’s development. The purpose is to reassure yourself that developmental milestones are occurring on target. Areas monitored include: Communication, Gross Motor skills, Fine Motor skills, Adaptive, Personal-Social, and a few General/overall questions. With each questionnaire, we will also include a calendar of activities to do with your child to help encourage their interactive play.

Educational Advocacy
This service assists you with Article 7 and IEP guidance. Staff can meet one on one to go over questions, provide resources and information, as well as attend IEP meetings or 504 conferences at parents request.
