Ticks
Ticks are very common throughout San Antonio, and they also pose a danger to humans and their pets. Ticks can transmit Lyme disease, Stari, and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Ticks live in wooded and bushy areas, but will quickly latch onto a host to feed off of their blood. As such, homeowners that live near woody areas are more likely to experience a tick problem than in other areas.
