Students which have shown particular talent may audition and qualify for our Pre-Professional program. We hold auditions year-round by appointment only, with a minimum age of 8 years. This intensive program works with a combination of private lessons, classes, body conditioning exercises, and significant competition opportunities. Candidates do not necessarily have to have prior experience with our Studio, but make a year-long commitment to the program upon entry.
Working as soloists, duets, and ensembles; these students receive personal and intensive training in the Vaganova Method to give them a strong foundation for a future career in the performing arts. This program is as true to the original training of that method as possible. This will set your child apart for their peers with a world-recognized foundation. This program requires extensive time commitments, and will involve travel for competitions and performances; but will begin a lifelong and impactful career in the world of Performing Arts.
Pre-professional Highlights:
- Intensive: Students will have a minimum of 2 hours of group work, 2 hours of individual training, and 1 hour of body conditioning training per week. Students are also expected to continue practice outside their training times for a minimum of 4 additional hours. This program is also year-round.
