Founder and Executive Director

Joanna is the Founder and Executive Director of Unbridled Hope. As a master’s in social work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the great State of Idaho, she has built the non-profit Unbridled Hope from the ground up to be able to bring the unique experience of incorporating horses in her sessions.

Joanna is also certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health Learning, or ESMHL, through PATH International (the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) and has previously been trained through the EAGALA.

Having been a horse-crazy girl her entire life, Joanna has made it her mission to share the healing power that well-trained and cared-for horses have to share with individuals, families, groups, and corporations that she works with.

Joanna's passion and care to bring out the best in the animal as a sentient being through mutual consent, emotional regulation, and identifying appropriate communication between the animal and human species reflects directly on the impact this work has in the lives of all who become involved.
