In this class, students will learn various folk styles, how to use various rhythm patterns and techniques with the bow to create the style and sound of folk music, and depending on skill level, will teach students how to elaborate on the melody. Levels extend from beginner to advanced. This class is open to all string players, whether violinists, violists, or cellists.
