Encompassing an area of 40 square miles and serving a population exceeding 20,000, Andover Fire-Rescue is dedicated to safeguarding our community. Our response teams and skilled personnel operate from two strategically positioned stations: one situated at 911 North Andover Road and the other at the 8000 Block of SW Indionola. Comprising a harmonious blend of 20 career firefighters, 6 part-time personnel, and 11 dedicated volunteers, AFR operates as a collaborative force committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all.
