No. 7 Room

The No. 7 Room offers versatile sleeping arrangements, featuring a queen-size bed and two sets of twin bunk beds, making it perfect for families or groups. For your convenience, it includes a private bath with a walk-in shower and a cozy fireplace, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay.

But what sets the No. 7 Room apart is its intriguing history, harkening back to the days of passenger river boats that docked at Maj. Lewis' landing below the house. It is said that Maj. Lewis would generously offer this room to the hardworking crew of the riverboat during their stopovers. Originally designed to accommodate seven men, presumably in bunk beds, these bunks were crafted from the wood salvaged from the old smokehouse that once stood on the property.

Experience the rich history and unique charm of the No. 7 Room at Lylewood Inn Bed & Breakfast, where you can sleep in the same space that riverboat crew members once rested. Your adventure awaits in the heart of Indian Mound, TN, where history and comfort converge to create a truly unforgettable stay.
