Academic Success

Academic Success, a flagship program offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas at 703 N 8th St. in Killeen, Texas, is designed to provide youth with the tools and opportunities necessary to excel academically and prepare for future success. Through a comprehensive approach, we enable students to cultivate essential skills vital for academic achievement, post-secondary education pursuits, and technological proficiency. Our overarching goal is to foster the development of globally competitive graduates. Remarkable outcomes underscore our commitment, with 97% of teen Club members envisioning high school graduation, 87% aspiring to pursue post-secondary education, and 70% setting their sights on attaining a four-year college degree or beyond. Moreover, data comparisons reveal that a significant proportion of low-income Club members outperform their peers nationally, with 73% earning predominantly A's and B's in school, and a notable interest in STEM careers among Club members exceeding national averages, underscoring our dedication to nurturing diverse talents and aspirations.
