The Emergency Preparedness services offered by the Mohave County Department of Public Health are integral in fortifying the community against public health threats and emergencies. Operating from the heart of Kingman, our Public Health Emergency Preparedness program diligently plans and coordinates all-hazards response activities across Mohave County. Our dedicated Emergency Response Team is committed to swiftly detecting, investigating, and controlling a spectrum of threats, ranging from emerging infectious diseases and disease outbreaks to pandemics, chemical or radiological exposures, and bioterrorism.

Collaborating closely with local healthcare organizations, emergency management, and public safety entities, we strive to build an integrated emergency response system. This collaborative effort aims to safeguard the well-being of all residents and visitors to Mohave County. By enhancing coordination among tribes, local, state, and federal agencies, including health care partners, our capacity to respond effectively before, during, and after public health events is significantly improved.
