Nevada Health Centers is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of healthcare providers through our commitment to education and training. In partnership with Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, we proudly offer a family medicine residency program in Nevada, aimed at equipping aspiring physicians with the specialized skills and knowledge essential for practicing medicine in diverse community settings.

Residents enrolled in our program have completed four years of medical school and embarked on a rigorous three-year journey of specialized training in family medicine. This Graduate Medical Education (GME) program represents the final phase of their medical education, preparing them comprehensively to deliver high-quality healthcare to individuals and families across Nevada. The Southern Nevada Family Medicine Residency Program, a collaborative effort between Southern Hills Hospital, HCA Healthcare, and Nevada Health Centers, welcomed its inaugural cohort of eight residents in July of 2017. Through this program, we are shaping the future of healthcare delivery in our state, ensuring that communities have access to well-trained and compassionate family medicine physicians.
