Carson Capital Campaign

The Carson Capital Campaign represents an exciting opportunity to expand and enhance the Sierra Nevada Health Center, a cornerstone of healthcare provision for families in the Carson City area. As generations of residents call this community home, our goal is to ensure that all individuals, from newborns to retirees and veterans, have access to quality, compassionate care tailored to their needs. While our center already provides excellent care, the growing demand in our community necessitates expansion, and your support is crucial in helping us meet both current healthcare needs and future demands.

The expansion project addresses several critical areas where our community faces persistent health disparities. By outgrowing our current facility, we seek to create more space and improved design to better serve our patients. Furthermore, we aim to bridge gaps in access to essential services such as Medicaid and Medicare providers, low-cost dental care, pharmacy services, and specialty care. The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the urgency of creating a more equitable system of care, emphasizing the importance of embracing new resources, technologies, and clinical talent to ensure the well-being of all community members. Through this campaign, we plan to expand our on-site pharmacy, introduce adult and pediatric dental services, offer podiatry services for those living with diabetes, and enhance our telehealth offerings. The Nevada Health Foundation, our fundraising entity, welcomes donors interested in supporting this vital construction project to contribute and make a lasting impact on healthcare accessibility in our community.
