Little Lights

At First Light Fellowship, we believe that children are not just the future of our faith community, but vital participants in the present moment. Our Little Lights program is designed to empower and engage children, allowing them to shine brightly in our worship gatherings and beyond. While children remain in the main service for the majority of the time, they are invited to participate in interactive sessions led by our pastors or volunteer teachers, continuing the conversation started in worship in a way that is tailored to their age and understanding.

Through initiatives like KidsCan, an after-school program focused on exploring scripture and empowering children to make a difference in their communities, and Be a Light Camp, our version of Vacation Bible School, we provide opportunities for children to grow spiritually and develop leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment. Additionally, our community Kids' Craft Classes offer monthly creative outlets for children to express themselves and engage with others in meaningful ways.

At First Light, we recognize the invaluable insight, creativity, and energy that children bring to our community. From leading prayers and songs to sharing their thoughts on scripture, children play an integral role in our worship gatherings, enriching our understanding of God's love and inspiring us to embrace a more open and wonder-filled approach to our faith journey. We are committed to continually empowering and encouraging children to participate and lead within our intergenerational worshiping community, inviting everyone to join us in fostering a space where all voices are valued and celebrated.
