Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program

The Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program, overseen by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), is dedicated to addressing the unique needs of young individuals who find themselves without stable housing. This program provides a range of specialized services tailored to support homeless youth in Oregon, including access to emergency shelter, transitional housing, case management, counseling, education support, and assistance with basic needs such as food and clothing. ODHS collaborates with local service providers and community organizations to ensure that homeless youth receive comprehensive support to help them stabilize their living situations, pursue education and employment opportunities, and ultimately transition to independent living. By offering a continuum of care and support, ODHS endeavors to empower homeless youth to overcome adversity and build brighter futures for themselves.
