The Small Business Development Center


The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers essential support to small businesses in Georgia, providing tools, training, and resources to help them grow. Operating since 1977, the SBDC has 18 offices across the state and is part of a statewide ecosystem that supports entrepreneurs. It functions under the Public Service and Outreach Extension of The University of Georgia and is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The center is nationally accredited by the Association of SBDCs, emphasizing its role in fostering small business success.
