Positioned directly across from Sandy City Hall, the Sandy Historical Museum occupies a historically significant site, adjacent to the renowned Barlow Road. This road served as the final stretch of the Oregon Trail, facilitating the arduous journey of countless pioneers in covered wagons across the Cascade Mountains to Western Oregon from the 1840s to the 1870s.
