helps NE Clackamas County elders maintain independent living by assisting with home management tasks that they can no longer do. From the beginning of the program, over 3,000 senior citizens have benefited from 20,000 youth and mentor service hours of support. A 90-year-old senior citizen living alone shared, “Without you I could not keep up on all of this work. You are truly a blessing. I can live more peacefully.” During the Covid-19 pandemic local youth visited and supported over 600 senior citizens addressing safety, health and wellness, and basic needs. Youth can get started now by filling out this Welcome Packet.
