Chesapeake Environmental Management (CEM) in Bel Air, MD, conducted a 5-acre topographic survey for the Heritage Hills stormwater retrofit in Glen Burnie. Despite debris and sediment challenges, CEM used alternative methods to ensure accurate data collection. This project, in partnership with the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works since February 2016, aims to reduce flooding and enhance community resilience, with a budget between $10,000 and $100,000.
