Based in Foster City, California, Peninsula Special Interest Lions is dedicated to providing vital healthcare services through free clinics and health fairs across the region. Our outreach extends to various organizations, including but not limited to elementary, middle, and high schools, colleges, universities, senior and community centers, churches, businesses, and nonprofits. At these events, we offer screenings for diabetes, conducting over 12,000 locally each year, as well as blood pressure checks and cancer patches for early detection of lung cancer. Additionally, we provide educational resources on nutrition and produce health videos tailored to the needs of these organizations. As part of our commitment to community health, we also collaborate with the Mills Peninsula Hospital Project, specifically in the Pre-Natal department, ensuring comprehensive care for all.
