Peninsula Special Interest Lions, rooted in Foster City, California, proudly honors and supports veterans through a range of impactful initiatives. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, we host luncheons dedicated to veterans, fostering camaraderie and community. Additionally, every other year, our Stand Downs provide essential support to 130 to 200 veterans over three to four days, offering vital resources and services. Committed to meeting the diverse needs of veterans, we organize collections of clothing, furniture, and other essential items. Furthermore, our dedication extends to assisting veterans with court cases through arrangements in vet court, ensuring they receive the support and advocacy they deserve.
