Fostering Community in Chavurot

At Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, our Chavurot program embodies the spirit of community and mentorship, fostering connections that span generations. Through monthly gatherings, students from all grade levels engage in games, crafts, and bonding experiences alongside a dedicated teacher, creating lasting friendships and support networks that endure throughout their time at Wornick. This unique initiative not only provides older students with opportunities to mentor their younger peers but also allows younger students to glean wisdom from their Middle School counterparts. Parents are also invited to participate in adult activity Chavurot, fostering connections with teachers and fellow parents in the spirit of continuity and shared heritage.
