Early Head Start

E Center's Early Head Start program is designed to support the development and well-being of children aged 0-3 years, as well as expectant mothers. Our comprehensive services cater to families' diverse needs, offering two distinct program options: Full Day and Home Base.

In the Full Day program, children can be enrolled for up to five days a week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate family requirements. This option provides care for eight or more hours each day, ensuring that working parents have access to reliable childcare services. Currently available in Butte, Sutter, and Yuba County, this program focuses on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children's growth and development.

Alternatively, our Home Base program offers personalized support through weekly home visits from a dedicated Family Educator. During these visits, lasting 1.5 hours, parents work directly with their child under the guidance of the Family Educator, fostering meaningful interactions and learning experiences. Additionally, families participate in bi-weekly socialization sessions, further enhancing children's social and emotional development. This program, also available in Butte, Sutter, and Yuba County, prioritizes the parent-child bond and empowers parents to become actively involved in their child's early education journey.
