Coolant Decontamination Unit

The Coolant Decontamination Unit (CDU) from Big Sky Decon is expertly designed to skim, decontaminate, eliminate odors, and maintain coolant for a variety of machines such as mills, lathes, drill presses, and saws. The process begins with coolant being pumped from the machine's reservoir into the CDU, where any mixed oil can be separated and contained. The coolant then continuously cycles through the CDU system, undergoing UVC light exposure to eliminate bacteria that cause unwanted odors, before being returned to the machine's reservoir.

Constructed from durable stainless steel, the CDU features a manual skimmer timer, an On/Off switch for the UV lights, and an external oil collection jar with a coolant return hose. For added convenience, the CDU is equipped with a rolling stand, allowing for easy mobility between machines. When not in use, the CDU automatically drains the coolant back into the reservoir. Utilizing the CDU saves both time and money by reducing the need for extensive machine cleaning, frequent coolant replacement, and the cost of outsourcing old coolant removal, ensuring your operations run smoothly and efficiently.
