Arizona Electric Power Cooperative (AEPCO) operates a robust transmission network that extends from the Apache Generating Station in Cochise, Arizona, across diverse regions including Southern Arizona, Western New Mexico, Northwestern Arizona, and Southern California. AEPCO owns 866 miles of transmission lines and 36 substations, facilitating the distribution of wholesale electric power to six Class A member distribution cooperatives. These cooperatives collectively serve over 420,000 consumer-members.
