The Greater Peoria Honor Flight program is dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of our veterans by providing them with a memorable trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the national memorials. Veterans who have previously applied are already on file and need not reapply. The program currently prioritizes World War II and Korean War veterans due to their urgent health concerns and manages a substantial waitlist, with applications from as far back as 2017 still being processed. Veterans and their guardians are informed about their flight details at least six weeks in advance. For those unable to complete the online application, a printable version is available.
