Flags for First Graders

The Bullhead City Lions Club's 'Flags for First Graders' initiative is an educational program designed to instill patriotism and provide knowledge about the history of the American Flag. This program involves presentations at various schools in the region, including Bennett Elementary, Camp Mohave Elementary School, Desert Star Academy, Desert Valley School, Diamondback Elementary School, Fort Mohave Elementary School, Mohave Accelerated Learning Center, and Young Scholars Academy. During these sessions, first graders are taught the significance of the American Flag and each student is gifted their own flag. These educational events are typically held in September to align with the schools' curriculum schedules.
