Communications
REMSA Communications is known primarily to the community as the dispatchers that make up the team of medical professionals including emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics and communications specialists who answer 9-1-1 medical emergency calls for all of Washoe County. REMSA’s Communications team gives life-saving instructions while callers await the arrival of EMS. They provide critical information and directions, as well as encouragement and support.
