Microbial Testing
Microorganisms found in cannabis products have the potential to be very harmful when consumed or inhaled. Microbiological contaminates commonly appear in grown and stored cannabis material required to be tested for Aflatoxin, Aspergillus, Shiga Toxin Causing E. coli, and Salmonella. We utilize a quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR) to screen for the presence of these bacteria to ensure that your products are clean and safe. Microbiological testing in cannabis can detect specific species of organisms and significantly reduces false positive results compared to traditional plating methods.
