What does it mean to be a Social Worker? It means to be a supporter of our patients and their families. Our social workers are trained to assist our patients and their families in developing an individualized plan of care, researching ways to relieve stress and anxiety by non-medical means, and connecting them with appropriate local resources. Our social workers are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to provide counseling in these areas, as well as coordinating possible aid from other organizations.
