How Much Ice Is Needed For Your Party/Event
A good rule of thumb is one (1) lb. of ice on hand per person. Increase that to 1.5 lbs. of ice per person if it's an outdoor event in the hot Arizona summer sun. If you are using ice to chill sodas and beers, two (2) lbs. on hand per person and 2.5 lbs. for an outdoor event in the summer.
