Success On The Spectrum provides group social skills classes with the aim of fostering social connections and enhancing friendship skills among participants. The structured lessons encompass a variety of topics essential for social development, including conversational skills, appropriate use of humor and electronic communication, identifying sources of friends, entering and exiting conversations, as well as strategies for handling peer conflict and rejection.

Children attending these classes will gather in small groups on a weekly basis at the Success On The Spectrum facility. Each session is led virtually by a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and supervised in-person by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). To add an element of fun and engagement, every lesson concludes with an interactive game. Additionally, on every third meeting, the children have the opportunity to participate in an outing where they can practice the newly acquired social skills in real-life settings.

In order to be eligible for enrollment, each child must meet specific criteria, including verbal communication ability, the capacity to sit and attend 45-minute sessions, and active participation in age-appropriate group discussions. These requirements ensure that the classes are tailored to the needs and capabilities of the participants, maximizing the effectiveness of the program.
