Crouse Cafe, located in Indianola, IA, is a time-honored family-owned restaurant that has been a cherished part of the community since 1946. Founded by Bob and Cleo Crouse, it started as a small eatery and grew to include multiple locations in different towns. In 1963, the restaurant was passed down to their son, Richard, and his wife, Bonnie, who continued to uphold the tradition of providing exceptional dining experiences. A significant moment in the restaurant's history occurred in 1970 when it was relocated to its present location by Bonnie, thanks to R.M. Hale's persuasion. Since then, the restaurant has remained a cornerstone of Indianola's culinary scene.
Today, Crouse Cafe is in the capable hands of John and Rhonda, who continue the legacy set by their predecessors. They are joined by John's brother, Bob, and their son, Josh, who oversees the kitchen. Providing warm hospitality and attentive service are John and Rhonda's daughter, Kristin, as well as nieces Heidi and Abbie.
