The Cozy Rustic Buck Cabin is our largest cabin. It will sleep 4-8 persons. A great place to "GET AWAY FROM THE RAT RACE", with no phone, Internet or TV for a weekend or week! There are 2 bedrooms, with a queen bed in each, plus 2 queen sofa-beds in living area. All linens supplied. Full kitchen, including microwave and dishwasher. Also, an open-view pellet stove for fireplace atmosphere in winter, [bring pellets]. Heating by kerosene that you can program. Swamp Cooler in Kitchen window for the Summer. Read a book, play games around the dining table, nap in the queen sized beds, and don't forget the Barbecue [bring briquettes] and picnic table on the deck for summer use!! A great amount of vacationing space [780 sq. ft.] coupled with the great outdoors. All units are "housekeeping", so no maid service. We have an ABSOLUTELY NO PETS POLICY & NO SMOKING IN ALL UNITS. The Cozy Rustic Buck Cabin: 2 NIGHT MINIMUM -- Basic CASH DISCOUNT PRICE for 4 persons: WINTER (1Nov. to 1 May) $185.00 daily or $1,295.00 weekly. SUMMER (1 May to 1 Nov.) $180.00 Daily and $1,210.00 weekly. Over the 4 basic: Children under 3 are free, Children 3 to 13 are $12.00 per night. All persons 13+ are $18.00 per night. 9% room tax added to total. We prefer check/cash, however, we accept the 4 major credit cards with 5% added to total. Reservations are held with a credit card. OUR CANCELLATION POLICY: If canceled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later, or in case of no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged. Lake Davis Resort, Cabins and Motel is located in the Sierra Mountains, in a Game Reserve, close to the Beautiful Lake Davis and the northern most part of the Middle Fork of the Feather River. The quaint town of Portola, CA is close by with easy access to Reno, NV, the Lakes District and Sierra Trails, plus Portola's Western Pacific Railroad Museum, James Beckwourth Historical Museum, and the Historical William's House Museum.
The seasons are very distinct... Glorious snow-capped mountains in the winter, beautiful colors in the fall, heavenly scenes in the spring, and great outdoor living in the summer. No matter what time of year you choose to visit, you're sure to have the time of your life!
