After college, we left Hermann and embarked on our own careers- Nancy as a program manager/graphic designer in Seattle, Washington, and Dan as a physical therapist and organic farmer (Farmer Dan) in Columbia, Missouri- but gathered at our childhood home with our parents and large extended families often.

When our parents passed away recently (after living in retrohaus for over 60 years!), we decided to convert our childhood home into a funky guesthouse to continue creating warm memories in this special place.

We've renovated the home, keeping as much of the original structure as possible, using many furnishings we grew up with, while also modernizing the home for comfort and style with a groovy German flair.
