National Hispanic Cultural Center

About Us

The National Hispanic Cultural Center is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities. The Center presents over 700 events and creates the opportunity for thousands more through its art museum, library, genealogy center, and educational resources. The NHCC is a division of the State of New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs and is further supported by the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

A beautiful and unique venue for your next special event or meeting, the NHCC’s campus has many inside and outside venues to consider, with on-site catering services provided by PopFizz.

A dedicated and enthusiastic core of docents and volunteers make the NHCC operate, and have a blast in the process, whether they are ushering for performances, facilitating workshops, or getting and giving exhibition tours! For information on both the docent and volunteer program or to sign-up for an upcoming orientation, contact NHCC Volunteer Coordinator Annette Lujan at annette.lujan@state.nm.us
