Plus Communications

PLUS Communications is a premier consulting firm based in Arlington, VA, specializing in coalition building, grassroots mobilization, advertising, digital engagement, message development, and media relations. With a campaign-style approach to issue-based efforts, we are renowned for our results-oriented mindset. At PLUS Communications, we firmly believe that in every project, you either win or lose. Period.

Established in 2011 by three of the nation's top political and public affairs strategists, our firm has grown into a powerhouse, now employing over 150 professionals. Our team includes 14 partners, each with unparalleled experience in representing Fortune 100 companies, trade associations, and non-profit organizations across various industries.

Our dedication to excellence has earned us numerous accolades within the communications industry, including prestigious awards such as the PRWeek Awards, Holmes Report's SABRE Awards, and Reed Awards.

In 2018, PLUS Communications was honored by PRWeek, receiving the esteemed "Best in Public Affairs" award for our groundbreaking campaign on behalf of FWD.us. This campaign led to significant reforms in Louisiana's criminal justice system. Additionally, we were recognized with the "Best for a Cause" award for our work with the National Sikh Campaign, where we successfully dispelled misconceptions and biases about the religion. Our efforts in immigration reform with FWD.us were also applauded, earning us the Holmes Report's SABRE Awards for "Best in Public Affairs."

Furthermore, in 2016, PLUS Communications achieved major victories at the federal level for the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and Charter Communications. Collaborating with GMA, we successfully advocated for the passage of a significant food-labeling law—a remarkable achievement amidst a Republican Congress and under President Obama's administration. For Charter Communications, we orchestrated an influential grassroots campaign that resulted in regulatory approval for their merger with Time Warner Cable and the acquisition of Bright House Networks. These impactful endeavors garnered us the Holmes Report's SABRE Awards for "Best in Telecommunications" and "Best in Public Affairs," respectively. Notably, our campaigns also secured two out of five national nominations in PRWeek's coveted "Best Public Affairs Campaign" category.

At PLUS Communications, we believe in the importance of giving back to our community. We are proud of our pro bono work, dedicated to supporting various great causes.

While we have grown significantly since our inception, our unwavering commitment to every client—regardless of their size—remains unchanged. If you believe that PLUS Communications could be of assistance to your organization, we invite you to reach out to us. We would be delighted to hear from you.
